Just a reminder that school is closed for students on Election Day, Tuesday November 8, 2011. School, also, will be closed on Veteran's Day, Friday, November 11, 2011.
Progress Reports are going home with students on Friday, October 7, 2011. Please make sure to check your child's backpack.
The Parent Portal
The district is very pleased to announce the opening of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. The Parent Portal is a confidential and secure web site where parents can access their child's information in the district's Student Information System. With a couple clicks of the mouse, parents/guardians will be able to access their child's academic information, attendance and other data.
You may request private access to your child's information by completing an access request form; reading and signing the parent portal agreement; and providing official photo identification to your child(ren)'s school. You can obtain forms at your child's school or click here to download these documents.
When access is approved, the district will email or mail you a letter which includes an activation code and instructions for creating your portal account. We will begin to send out letters for high school parents the week of October 12th, middle school parents the week of October 19th and elementary parents the week of October 26th.
We think that the portal will be an important tool for parents/guardians and hope it proves helpful to you.
